Jane's Addiction
Live Voodoo
Filmed live on Halloween night 2009 at Voodoo Experience in New Orleans, Live Voodoo sees the reunion of the classic Jane’s Addiction line-up of Perry Farrell (vocals), Stephen Perkins (drums), Eric Avery (bass) and Dave Navarro (guitar).
This spectacular show captures the band on top form with Perry Farrell at his most mesmerizing and the rest of the band clearly enjoying the occasion.
The tracklisting is predominantly drawn from their first two albums, which both featured this line-up, and the band are joined on stage by twin girl dancers, while the show climaxes with a joyous all singing and dancing stage invasion.

JJ Grey & Mofro
Georgia Warhorse
Maybe number five is the charm?
Not that JJ Grey and his ever evolving backing band Mofro care.
But it’s possible that Georgia Warhorse may be the record that pulls them from the glorified cult status they’ve enjoyed for a decade into the lights on the mainstream’s fringes—but don’t count on it.
Grey’s music is far too real; too poetically, sonically, and atmospherically rooted in vintage Southern soul, rock and blues traditions to translate readily into radio fodder.
The music is steeped in funky, greasy, slippery Southern R&B, blues and rock.

Isobel Campbell & Mark Lanegan
Hawk
The third full length collaboration between the former Screaming Trees vocalist (Lanegan) and ex-Belle & Sebastian member (Campbell).
The husky growl of Mark Lanegan and the soft, gentle beauty of Isobel Campbell proved to be the perfect match on 2006’s Ballad Of The Broken Seas and again on 2008’s Sunday At Devil Dirt.
Utilizing glistening guitars and sumptuous piano lines, the pair reunite for Hawk, an album produced by Campbell. Also featuring Willy Mason on two tracks, Hawk once again displays the emotive and powerful talents of two singers from opposite ends of the vocal spectrum.

John Mellencamp
No Better Than This
No Better Than This is an album of all new original songs that was recorded at a variety of historically significant locations around the south.
The album was produced by T-Bone Burnett who earlier collaborated with Mellencamp on the much-lauded Life Death Love and Freedom.
No Better Than This was recorded over the course of a few break days afforded Mellencamp when he was on tour of minor league ball parks last year, sharing the bill with Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson.
The album was recorded on vintage equipment - a 55 year old Ampex tape recorder with just one microphone - in Savannah at the First African Baptist Church, in Memphis at Sun Studios and in San Antonio in room 411 of the Gunter Hotel.
Mellencamp wrote the 13 songs included on the album during a 13 day span last spring.
