Also featuring Jack Lancaster  (saxophones, flute \u0026amp; violin), Andy Pyle (bass, vocals) and Ron Berg (drums), Blodwyn Pig  fused jazzier elements with blues and rock and swiftly became one of the most popular bands  on the UK underground circuit. Their albums 'Ahead Rings Out' (1969) and 'Getting To This'  (1970) were both top ten hits and they also enjoyed a hit single with 'Same Old Story'. After  Abrahams’ departure in late 1970 to pursue a solo career, he was briefly replaced by former \u003cbr\u003eYes guitarist Peter Banks, but the band soon came to an end.
