Before the name Pungent Stench became synonymous with the twisted, perverted, groovy death metal of the early 90s, before the record contracts, the festivals, and cult status...they were just three madmen producing the most heinous, disturbing noise Vienna had ever heard.

Here it all began: "Mucous Secretion," recorded in a single session on a ghetto blaster, no overdubs, no frills, no polish. Just raw, repulsive death metal mess! Recorded live at rehearsals in 1988. Restored but never sterilized, the demo by Erwin Hermsen has been carefully re-mastered at the Toneshed Studio!
