LP - Fake Names - Punk Ruins

1 LP

Punk supergroup Fake Names return with "Punk Ruins", their third studio album. Bringing together five architects of punk and hardcore - Brian Baker (Minor Threat, Bad Religion, Dag Nasty), Michael Hampton (S.O.A., Embrace), Dennis Lyxzen (Refused, The (International) Noise Conspiracy), Johnny Temple (Girls Against Boys, Soulside), and Mario Rubalcaba (Rocket From The Crypt, OFF!), Fake Names channel decades of experience into a sound that feels immediate, electric, and entirely their own.

The group first joined forces in 2016, forming what Baker calls a "mutual admiration society". Despite their collective history, the chemistry was immediate - once they were in the same room, it felt like they had been playing together for years. Built on the collision of 1970s UK punk, classic hardcore, and guitar-driven power-rock, "Punk Ruins" finds the band pushing their chemistry further than ever - balancing sharp melodic instincts with explosive guitars, driving rhythms, and the restless energy that defines great punk rock
