 The early 1970s Steeleye Span recordings are considered by many to be the long standing folk rock band's finest. "All Things Are Quite Silent" compiles their first three albums "Hark! The Village Wait" (1970), "Please To See The King" (1971) and "Ten Man Mop Or Mr. Reservoir Butler Rides Again" (1971) and also adds several additional studio recordings from the same timeframe. All three albums are presented in miniature facsimile sleeves, while the set is housed in a clamshell box that contains a 32 page booklet featuring rare photos, page booklet featuring rare photos, interview quotes and a lengthy essay on Steeleye's early days.
