These songs captured the imaginations of Jagjaguwar's founders Darius Van Arman and Chris Swanson - and ultimately, opened up worlds to them. Highlights include The Besnard Lakes tackling Slint's "Good Morning, Captain", Jamila Woods covering Tracy Chapman's classic "Fast Car", Angel Olsen taking on Bill Callahan's "Cold Blooded Old Times", and Pink Mountaintops handling Teenage Fanclub's "The Concept".
